What is BORDERLIVE EUROPE?
BORDERLIVE EUROPE is a participatory project and a living digital monument. It marks the 70th anniversary of the European idea by inviting people to document the edges of our continent.
The project allows individuals to visit borders and record their presence by adding a location, a photo or video, and a short written note. Together, we are creating “THREADS OF EUROPE 70 YEARS” – the largest shared digital record of our common space.

How does BORDERLIVE EUROPE work?
Participation is an act of discovery and documentation.
Step 1 - Get Access
Purchase access to the project (9,99 € + VAT). Valid for individuals, couples, or families. Your access includes base storage for your memories, with options to upgrade as your journey grows.
Step 2 - Choose Your Border
Visit any point along the European borders. Choose the 1200 Official Points to join the artistic masterpiece, or explore any Internal, Sea, or Land border for your personal archive.
Step 3 - Create Your Entry
Take a photo or video and write a short note. Capturing the spirit of the place is your contribution to the collective history.
Step 4 - Secure Your Thread
Upload your visit to the map. Using GPS verification, your presence is locked into the digital monument in real-time.

Every official point has a First Visitor.
The first person to record a verified visit to one of the 1200 Official Points is permanently linked to that location in the ” THREADS OF EUROPE 70 YEARS ” masterpiece. It is a race to claim a piece of history.
